We have decided to expand upon our volunteer projects and incorporate a theme into each months’ event. Our inaugural themed event is entitled “Thrift, Sift and Regift”. This month we will be sorting donations at the “thrift” store with the Durham Rescue Mission. We will also be holding a contest for all volunteers to “sift” through the thrift store items to find the best buy for under $3.00 after the volunteer shift has concluded. We will judge the purchased items during the social event and the winner will get their lunch for free at Trali! We will then collect all the purchased items (unless you really want to keep yours 
) and “regift” them back to the thrift store. Of course this contest is optional but we welcome all participants!
WHAT: Thrift, Sift and Regift with the Durham Rescue Mission

WHEN: 8:30AM-11:30AM (volunteering), 11:45AM-2PM (social event)

DETAILS:
We are working with the Durham Rescue Mission for this month’s event. We will meet at the thrift store location (whichever you indicated on the sign-up form) at 8:30AM. Please do not be late.
The social will be from 11:45AM-2PM at Trali Irish Pub at the below address:

There are no clothing restrictions/guidleines but please be sure to wear comfortable attire that you will easily be able to move in and won’t mind getting dirty.
Volunteers must be 21+.
